iHuman’s new studio — delivered through the All In! Edmonton initiative, will place a strong emphasis, energy and focus on how collaboration can play an important role for both community building as well as the crucial support services our youth need so that they can beat the odds and become healthy members of our community.

iHuman Youth Society  is a registered charitable non-profit agency that has been working with Edmonton’s youth who engage in high risk behaviours population since 1997. We provide care and encourage authentic self-discovery through art, music and fashion programming from our studio space in the downtown core. We build trust with youth, where others have been unable.

One of iHuman's important goals is to establish a permanent home; enabling us to improve programming, retain our clients and keep more kids on the right paths in life. iHuman has moved five times in the last twelve years - like the youth, the program for maximum effectiveness, needs a stable facility. To this end we have launched an innovative $10.5 M fund-raising project modelled after an old fashioned barn-raising that will provide a facility as well as a sustainability fund so Edmonton's most vulnerable kids will have a secure future.

iHuman’s new studio — delivered through the All In! Edmonton initiative, will place a strong emphasis, energy and focus on how collaboration can play an important role for both community building as well as the crucial support services our youth need so that they can beat the odds and become healthy members of our community.

We have solid foundational support  for All In! Edmonton and are excited to announce a unique partnership from Edmonton's top design and construction teams - consisting of Kasian Architecture, PCL Construction, Clark Builders, KELLERDENALI Construction, and Stuart Olson Dominion as well as RJC, Hemisphere Engineering and BTY Group. Their collective and significant contribution represents an unprecedented effort to enrich our communities through the innovative application of partnership, collaboration, community service and leadership.

How can you help?

Get the word out

This is a unique opportunity about iHuman. our industry, and our community — so please share this website with your peers. Not only are we trying to do something great for iHuman and our community, we are trying to change the way the construction industry cooperates and rallies behind good causes.

We need you involved. Under the guidance of our inspired team, you can make a positive difference for kids who have lost all hope and participate in an “old fashion community led barn-raising experience” that will inspire future generations to do the same. All we need you to do is to talk it up — start telling the All ln! Edmonton story to every hard hat, toolkit wielding peep you come across.

If you know a really good commercial painter (especially if his name is Leonardo or Vincent Van whatever) or a steal-studder who can frame faster than Bob Villa—please send them our way! A mechanical company or peep who loves to talk about hot and cold heating systems and air flow at family dinners or an electrical company whose staff all glow in the dark — we need them and many more to make this an "All in! Experience" that Edmonton will never forget.
